A variety of chili, small with a maximum length of 5 cm, bright green with an intense, sweet and slightly nutty flavour. As the popular Spanish saying goes: Padrón peppers — some hot, some not.
Provides Vitamins A, B2, B6, C, E and K, as well as potassium, phosphorus, magnesium and calcium. Vitamin C helps prevent colds and maintains healthy cells, skin, blood vessels and bones. Vitamin K plays a key role in blood clotting and wound healing.
Low in calories and ideal for weight-conscious diets. Rich in dietary fibre, which aids digestion, and has analgesic properties.
