AGROATLAS TOP 5 OF THE 25 HORTOFRUIT COMPANIES THAT GROWED THE MOST BETWEEN 2014 AND 2017
The FyH magazine, a benchmark in the fruit and vegetable sector, has published an interesting article in its August 16 issue, in which it places our company Agroatlas Europe among the most relevant “gacela” companies in Spain.
The term “gacela” is used for those companies that grow very quickly, even in times of crisis or problems in the sector. For these companies to be considered gazelles, they must have a growth of between 20% and 25% per year.
Well, in our case, and in the study period from 2014 to 2017, we have managed to place that percentage at 128%.
Agroatlas is positioned as the 5th fastest growing agricultural marketing company in Spain.
As the article describes, “specialization is another of the keys to raising turnover in the short term. Thanks to the specialization of Agroatlas Europe in the bean segment, it has acquired an important space as a supplier to several European chains”.
The article starts from the study by the consulting firm Plimsoll, and presents the 25 Spanish companies with the highest growth in the sector.
For Agroatlas, it is always a pleasure to appear in these “rankings”. They are often loudspeakers that we are doing things right, that our daily efforts are not only recognized by customers, but by industry specialists.
Our commitment to bobby beans (round), fine and extra fine cut beans, our continuous research, having the certification of organic bean producers … are small steps that strengthen us in a market as competitive as in which we we find.
Today, the fruit and vegetable world is not understood without innovation, but we defend that in addition to innovating in products, we must do the same with the market, and that is something that also makes a difference in our day to day.
We will continue working to bring the best gender to diners, and to try to increase the network of European chain providers that we already have.
